St. Boniface College
Multi-purpose Area

A recent addition at St. Boniface College created a multi-purpose area for students to relax and study. Internationally renowned architect Étienne Gaboury (Esplanade Riel, Royal Canadian Mint) designed the new atrium style building that attaches two existing campus buildings together.

A unique stage was centrally located in the room where guest speakers may address students or bands and entertainers could perform live concerts. To facilitate the stage a 24-channel stage lighting system and a re-configured audio package were installed. When the stage is not being used, a quality distributed audio system or the in-house student operated radio station provide entertainment and information.

Major System Components:

  • Electrovoice speakers
  • QSC amplifiers
  • Allen Heath audio console
  • Colortran/NSI lighting
