MacDonald Island Park is the new recreational complex and community hub for the City of Fort McMurray.
The complex includes three ice facilities (two hockey rinks plus mini-ice), a field-house, an indoor running track, a fitness centre, an aquatic centre (includes an Olympic sized swimming pool, waterslides and splash pad), an art gallery, a public library, a curling club, a ballroom, a meeting room, squash/racquetball courts, a children’s play area and a golf course.
A massive comprehensive facility like this needs a digital signage system to keep people aware of all the programs and events that are happening. The system also displays the weather, advertising and a traffic webcam.
The management at MacDonald Island Park are very pleased with the digital signage system.
