Marymound's Centennial Gala Celebration was held at the Hotel Fort Garry on October 15, 2011. The event featured a hilarious 75 minute Martin Short performance and included appearances by his famous Jiminy Glick and Ed Grimley characters.
The evening was hosted by Maralee Caruso from CTV News. Martin Short's show included three audience volunteers who were transformed into the "Three Amigos" and a Jiminy Glick interview with MLA Gord Macintosh.
The event raised $42,000.00 to provide bursaries to past and present Marymound youth pursuing post-secondary education.
