Viva Mexico tournament winners

The Inland AV Viva Mexico Golf Tournament was held at the River Ridge Golf and Country Club on July 9, 2008.
149 golfers from Edmonton and northern Alberta, battled both River Ridge and Mother Nature in this 5th year of the tournament. The winning team (pictured on the right) finished the day with an outstanding -11 over the 18 holes.
The biggest winner of the day was YESS (Youth Emergency Shelter Society). Inland AV raised $2,801.00 through the sale of mulligan's, putting competition, beat the pro and 50/50 tickets. Chris Germain, Inland AV Edmonton Branch Manager noted "While we enjoy the camaraderie of playing golf, it is important to use these opportunities to help those in your community that are not as fortunate as us. We have been helping YESS for over 3 years and our golf tournament is a part of our support."
After everyone dried off, a banquet was held at the Four Points by Sheraton Edmonton South.
Co-op Taxi was a partner in Viva Mexico and Inland AV appreciates their time and effort in ensuring the success of the tournament.
