Kieron Quigley, TANDBERG, moved center stage at the New Frontier of AV, immediately after lunch. His half hour Telepresence seminar focused on three products: C90 Telepresence Engine, Telepresence T1 solution and the Telepresence T3 solution.
Kieron introduced the TANDBERG C90 and summed it up as "powerful, flexible and inspiring." This 1080P30 codec with full duplex audio and high quality stereo sound, delivers the ultimate in video and audio quality. The C90 is an extremely flexible codec with up to 12 HD input sources plus the ability to add up to 8 microphones on the interface. This will enable the system to be customized for specific collaboration purposes. The C90 is inspiring as it is compatible with standards-based video without losing features. You can meet with anyone using standards-based videoconferencing system.
Kieron also noted that videoconferencing has become much more like a natural meeting with PrecisionHD 1080p camera using BestView technology. "BestView is a technology that will recognize faces within a room and adjust the pan, tilt and zoom based on who is speaking." The camera is acting more like how the human eye naturally focuses during a meeting. This is just one example of a detail that makes a TANDBERG Telepresence solution feel like you are sitting at the same table.
The T1 solution was designed for the executive conference room or office. With an impressive 65" screen and designed to provide excellent eye contact the T1 delivers an unparalleled executive user experience.
