boardroom videoconferencing unit
in demand for HR interviews at a distance

Clients of the Four Points By Sheraton Edmonton South have been using the hotel's new videoconferencing services to conduct HR interviews. This has enabled the hotels clients to interview potential employees from outside the Edmonton area face to face, without the expensive travel and inconvenience.
Lee Harris, Conference Services Manager noted that “Bringing people together is what we do. Now they can meet even if they all can’t be at our property. Many of our clients use the boardroom set up to conduct job interviews. While they do not get to shake hands, they can see and hear the person they are interviewing, getting a better idea if this person would be a good fit with their company.”
Videoconferencing can also bring large groups of experts together that could not meet in the traditional sense. “We have an upcoming health conference and a keynote presentation will be delivered by a specialist from California.” reported Harris. “Videoconferencing makes it possible for the group to take in the presentation and still ask questions of the speaker.”
Inland AV, supports the hotels videoconferencing system by integrating it into the clients' presentation. In the case of the health conference, this includes the videoconferencing system, two large video screens, plus a sound system including question and answer microphones.
