WCMA touches down at 15 Wing
WCMA show gets the crowd on their feet
The 2007 Western Canadian Music Awards touched down at Hangar 6, 15 Wing, Moose Jaw, Canadian Air Force on October 21, 2007. A who's who of the Canadian music industry rubbed shoulders in this unique awards show venue.
Inland AV played a key role ensuring that all delegates could see the winners at the podium as well as the entertainment and nominated clips from the music videos. Staging the event in an airplane hanger presented additional challenges that would not be faced at a regular concert hall. But an airplane hanger added a unique element to the event! The level floor of the hanger presented line of site issues that needed to be addressed. Five large projection screens, up to 12' x 16', and a series of 29" - 42" monitors were all synced together to deliver all the action, no matter where you were seated.
