Assistive Listening
A wireless personal listening system will help a hearing impaired person overcome the obstacles of background noise or poor room acoustics. The full impact and message of the presentation will be realized by ALL participants. There are many different systems available for permanent installations or portable use. Assisted listening systems are suited for churches, theatres, meeting venues and classrooms.
All systems are comprised of a transmitter, receiver and headset. Call your Inland AV location and discuss your specific requirements so that an assistive listening system that will deliver years of performance can be developed.
The American Disabilities Act recommends that 4% of the total seats have access to assistive listening devices. A 500 seat venue would want to provide a system with at least 20 headsets.
