With the Epson AP-60, it’s easy to enhance the learning experience. This affordable projector sound solution offers everything you need to captivate any audience. With four speakers and 60 W of sound (30 W x 2 channels), it’s ideal for virtually any classroom or boardroom. With the included infared (IR) wireless microphone, it allows the teacher to be heard throughout the room. The AP-60 is sure to engage every student and optimize the level of retention. The AP-60 offers remarkable clarity and relieves vocal strain. It supports up to two IR microphones, as well as other audio devices. (And, it’s easy to install with any new or existing mounted projector.) The AP-60 includes connectivity and a remote control that also operates Epson projectors. It makes sound enhancement easy and affordable, providing an innovative way to create a dynamic presentation environment.

Versatile audio support

The AP-60 comes with an IR pendant microphone, making it easy and convenient to amplify the speaker’s voice, so as to keep the audience’s attention. Using this amplification helps avoid vocal strain and ensures all in the room can hear the presenter. Or, add another IR microphone to allow student/audience participation. The included microphone has an audio input jack, which works seamlessly with an iPod® or MP3 player. Use it with your computer or DVD player to amplify the sound and truly captivate your audience.

Fast, easy installation

Designed for easy installation, the AP-60 can be mounted with a new or existing projector onto the ceiling using standard, 1.5" projector mounting equipment. Compatible with solid and drop (false) ceilings, it includes the mounting bracket hardware and a 1.5" pipe extension. And, it eliminates the need to mount four separate speakers elsewhere in the classroom, saving you time and money. There’s no additional cutting or drilling required. It’s fast, easy and affordable.

Sound balance feature

With customizable settings, the AP-60 enables you to make front and rear balance adjustments in order to direct the sound to the appropriate place, so that everyone in the room can hear your presentation. This high-value feature allows you to work with any classroom layout, providing the flexibility you need for an active learning environment.

Audio out capability

The AP-60 makes project-based learning easier than ever with included features like audio out, which can be used to capture the audio portion of your presentation. Record lessons and post them as podcasts to share with other schools. Record student presentations. Or, share audio presentations with students who were ill or absent. This can also be used to hook up other audio equipment.

IR pendant microphone

With a convenient IR microphone, the AP-60 offers teachers and presenters added peace of mind by ensuring their presentation will not be disrupted by interference from nearby rooms. Even if someone in the classroom next door is using a microphone, that signal will not be picked up by the IR wireless mic.
